The importance of a National Will Register

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

Most people assume that when you die your Will is easily found but if you’re anything like me, keeping your Will safe may realistically be the last thing on your mind.

Individuals and Solicitors can now register a Will with the National Will Register Certainty.co.uk and this will allow your family to locate your Will when you pass on and ensure that your last wishes are respected, eliminating distress and financial loss brought about by a lost or missing will.

Private Client – the Jewel in the Crown (April 2009)

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

A national Will Register is not a new idea. Lack of technology and funding has previously hampered the implementation of an effective Will Register.

My fellow legal colleagues and I joined Certainty because we realised it had taken an old idea (a Wills Register), grabbed it by the scruff of the neck and turned it into something that produces enormous marketing, fee earning and client-enhancing benefits for the Wills & Probate professional.

Probate Regional Seminars (April 2009)

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

The 2008/9 Probate Section’s Regional Winter seminars are  just past the halfway point now. As sponsors Certainty has been in attendance to meet solicitors the length and breadth of the country.

The seminars have been a great opportunity to discuss the benefits of Certainty’s services to law firms, even during the extreme weather conditions earlier in the year.

Conducted by expert lecturers, the seminars offer a truly valuable resource to busy practitioners.

Which Will Registry?

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

I’m set on registering my Will with a Will Registry but there seems to be a few to choose from which has somewhat confused me. The one that seems to have the strongest links with the legal profession stands out as being the Certainty one. Their chairman is a former Law Society President who apparently is keen to see everyone in the UK writing and registering a Will.

My Will is registered on the National Will Register!

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

I’ve already got a Will in existence and I’ve just discovered that there is a National Will Register website that will allow me to register my Will with them for absolutely no charge to myself! There must be a catch or a hidden fee somewhere surely? On visiting the site, I put their claims to the test of registering within 60 seconds and found them to be true. Registration was quick and easy even for someone who is slow on a keyboard like me!

Find a will writing solicitor

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

I was about to write a Will and discussing it in the pub with my pal who said the adverts I’d seen to write my will for £39.50 were probably the same firm that he’d seen in the paper who are actually not solicitors. He suggested that I should find a will writing solicitor.
