Friday, May 29th, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

Making a will is a lot easier than you think for the majority of us. After all the majority of us when it comes to making a will only have ourselves and our family to think about. There are various ways to make a will. You can make a DIY will or visit an unregulated will writer or use your local solicitor.

My Will is registered on the National Will Register!

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

I’ve already got a Will in existence and I’ve just discovered that there is a National Will Register website that will allow me to register my Will with them for absolutely no charge to myself! There must be a catch or a hidden fee somewhere surely? On visiting the site, I put their claims to the test of registering within 60 seconds and found them to be true. Registration was quick and easy even for someone who is slow on a keyboard like me!

Missing will

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

I have recently scoured my Fathers house from top to bottom looking for his missing will as he recently passed on. I’m pretty sure he wrote a will as he mentioned that the only item that was specifically leaving to one of the children was a piano which he was going to leave to my brother.

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

I’m pleased to say that I’ve found a great online service which is assisting me to search for a will. I was really stumped and didn’t know how I would go about this but there is a new national service that allows you to search the national will register and if the will hasn’t been registered it allows you to search for a will via solicitors offices.

Register a will

Friday, May 15th, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

I’ve written my Will and my solicitor has now given me the opportunity to register it via certainty the Uk’s Will Register which records the location of your will. I didn’t even realise it was necessary to register a will but when I looked into it I can’t believe how many wills actually go missing and are assumed lost. If this happens your estate would be treated as if you had never written a Will.

Making a will after remarriage

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

I’ve been married four times and have 6 children. I clearly remember making a will when I married my first wife. When we separated and I remarried and had my second child with my second wife I thought about making a will again for some time and eventually got around to doing it but it then occurred to me what would happen if my first wife had kept a copy of my first will from my previous marriage? So I spoke to the solicitor who said that my new will would supersede my old will however I should contact my original solicitor who holds the original will to destroy the original first will.

Official Will register

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

I’m looking for somewhere to register my Will as I want to ensure that it’s safe and secure. I don’t actually want to send the will off to anybody. I just want to let my family know where the original is located when I pass on. I’ve done endless research online to find out if there is an official will register. There is a probate register but this means I have to deposit my will there which I don’t want to do and then I would have to rely on my remaining family checking at the register for it. In somewhat of a quandary I decided to ring my solicitor and asked the question is there an official will register where I can register the location of my will?

Using a National Will Register

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

Although I’m only relatively ‘young’, as I’ve got children, have various life assurance policies and own a house, I’ve decided to arrange to have my Will written to safeguard my family. I’ve just read about the National Will Register ‘Certainty’ and after reading about the benefits it can bring I’m going to select a solicitor in my area through their website so as members they will be able to sign me up as part of the Will Writing process.

Which Will Registry?

Saturday, May 2nd, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

I’m set on registering my Will with a Will Registry but there seems to be a few to choose from which has somewhat confused me. The one that seems to have the strongest links with the legal profession stands out as being the Certainty one. Their chairman is a former Law Society President who apparently is keen to see everyone in the UK writing and registering a Will.
