When the UK’s Will Register www.certainty.co.uk went online in March 2008 they offered the general public the unique opportunity to register their existing Wills for free. Since March 2008, approaching 1 million of the free Will registrations have already been allocated. The register ensures that the location of your Will is recorded so it can be found when you pass on. Thousands of benefactors and next of kin can’t find loved ones Wills for a variety of reasons.

National Will Register Certainty Celebrates its 1st Birthday

Following the successful launch in March 2008, the Certainty Will Register (certainty.co.uk) celebrates its first birthday as a resounding success with several hundred firms of solicitors already on board as founding members. In excess of 750,000 Will registrations have already been allocated from the 12.8 million free Will registrations being made available to the general public.

Making a Will is crucial for anyone wanting to protect their children from the turmoil that can ensue after they die. Of course, if you don’t make a Will, it isn’t you who lives to regret it. If you have young children, should both parents die it’s left to the courts to decide who they are entrusted to. Until such time as the Court appoints a Guardian, the child can be taken into care. Certainty.co.uk, the UK’s National Will Register will be one of the corporate sponsors of the Stratford on Avon Music Festival which takes place from 11 – 19 October. Now in its 13th year, the festival presents musical events of the highest standard in venues in and around Stratford-upon-Avon.
 
Certainty’s sponsored event will take place on Sunday October 12th at the Shakespeare Institute where Natalie Clein, one of Britain’s finest and most popular young cellists will be performing with pianist Julius Drake. Natalie made her concerto debut at the BBC Proms in August 1997, and has since appeared in venues throughout the UK such as the Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, Bridgewater Hall and Birmingham’s Symphony Hall performing with many major orchestras. National Will Register Gives Certainty

Certainty.co.uk find a solicitor the UK’s on-line national will register ‘registry for wills’ has launched in Birmingham after almost 20 years’ lobbying for a national register of this nature. The register enables rapid registration of a will and the ability to search for lost or missing wills.

Designed exclusively for use by Law Society and STEP members in conjunction with the general public, the register cost in excess of £1 million to develop. (more…)

Certainty launches at the Probate Section Annual Conference

Certainty’s Manchester launch takes place at the Probate Section Annual Conference and AGM 2008 at the Lowry Hotel on 3rd July.

Developed over a two-year period, Certainty.co.uk has invested in excess of £1 million to provide a ‘national will register’ allowing members to easily register or search for a will. Extensive research has ensured that the register complies with legal requirements and is exclusively for the use of solicitors, STEP members and the general public.

Seal of approval for Certainty in Coventry

Certainty.co.uk, the UK’s first fully electronic online register of wills has received an overwhelming response from Coventry based solicitors during its first week of launch in the region.

Certainty is currently launching throughout the UK and is exclusively for use by solicitors, STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and the public. All of Certainty’s Founder Membership places in the Coventry region were taken in the first week of release. (more…)
