Which Will Registry?

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

This is a letter the Certainty National Will Register has received from a member of the public.

I’m set on registering my Will with a Will Registry but there seems to be a few to choose from which has somewhat confused me. The one that seems to have the strongest links with the legal profession stands out as being the Certainty one. Their chairman is a former Law Society President who apparently is keen to see everyone in the UK writing and registering a Will.

Registration with this Will Registry is free and takes just 60 seconds which sounds an ideal option. Or you can register through your solicitor if they are members. They are a very professional organisation and their site is very professional and easy to understand. I must admit I did think when I wrote my Will with my Solicitor that it would be all done and dusted and I wouldn’t have to think about it anymore. It’s only when I read that 67% of people don’t know where their parents Will is located that I started to panic and look ahead.

I certainly don’t want my family to have to go through any anguish and frustration trying to locate my Will so registering with a Will Registry is just making things easier for my loved ones. At least by using a Will Registry like Certainty I can rest in peace knowing that my chosen beneficiaries will be taken care of as I intended.

Be Safe and use Certainty to register a will on the UK’s National Will Register.
